About the event

GRAMMY-nominated music and social justice artist.
Specializing in multi-disciplines, he prides himself on being an educator with a vast creative resume spanning several decades. Born in Gary, IN, he began public speaking at age seven, winning a city-wide speech contest and speaking at the US Capitol. In high school, he founded the jazz and hip-hop band, Biscuits and Gravy, as the lead singer and was the opening act for notable figures such as Kanye West and Pharell.
The Britt Festival’s amazing free summer series returns! We are thrilled to host these world-class, family-friendly artists for a summer filled with music, laughter, and community.
While the concerts are free to the public, please note that standard museum admission or a current membership is required to enter the museum and enjoy the exhibits before or after the performance.
