The Children's Museum of Southern Oregon offers a variety of spaces for private events, workshops, and gatherings. Choose from our dedicated creative studios, a multi-purpose pavilion, or even rent the entire museum after hours!

Culinary Studio Private Event
Rental of private space, during or after museum hours. Two options for add-on workshops, bisqueware or culinary.
Booking & Availability

Reservations: Required at least 30 days in advance.

Setup Time/Clean Up: 30 minutes before and after the event.

Availability: Blackout dates for special events and holidays may apply.
Capacity and Pricing

Capacity: Up to 20 guests (Adults and children) included in the pricing, which covers staff labor.

Pricing: $250 per hour studio rental, does not include museum admission or workshop. Memberships can be used for admissions.
Optional Add-On Workshops
Enhance your event by adding a hands-on workshop for a flat fee of $300.

Clay Studio Private Event
Clay studio available during or after museum hours for private workshop or bisqueware painting, the studio is closed to the public during that time.
Booking & Availability

Reservations: Required at least 30 days in advance.

Duration: 1-hour rental.

Setup Time/Clean-up: 30 minutes before and after the event.

Availability: During hours or after hours, black out dates for special events and holidays.

Capacity: 20 People

During Business Hours: $30 per person, minimum 6 people. (min $180)

After Business Hours: $30 per person, minimum 10 people. (min $300)
Rental Details

Inclusions: Options for workshop or bisqueware. Pottery wheel and slab roller only to be used with educator supervision. Note: Kiln Clay projects have to dry for multiple days and then be painted so they would have to come back.

Museum Facilities Private Event
Rental of the entire museum for private events, rental after hours.

Capacity: 150

Pricing: $1,200 for 3-hour rental, 5:30pm-8:30pm. Enjoy a 10% discount if you are a museum member or a non-profit.

Rental of the pavilion for private events, during museum hours.

Pavilion & Outdoor Adventure Private Event
Rental of the Pavilion and Outdoor Adventure for private events, rental after hours.

Capacity: 100 seated, 160 including Outdoor Adventure

Pricing: $300 per hour

Refundable cleaning deposit: $500.
Rental Details

Inclusions: Outdoor Adventure and Pavilion (heat, lights, fans, bathrooms)

Entrance: Oakdale Gate becomes the main entrance (or 8th Street once developed).

Rental Policies
Payment
-
50% of the rental fee is required to reserve the date of your event once confirmed.
-
All fees are due 14 days before your event.
-
Current Museum Members receive a 10% discount off the total amount. Discount is taken at the time of balance payment.
Cancellation Policy
-
Events canceled more than 30 days in advance will receive a full refund of the deposit minus a $25 processing fee.
-
Events canceled between 14 and 30 days forfeit the full booking deposit (50% of the rental fee).
-
Events canceled within 14 days of the scheduled event will have the full rental applied as a cancellation fee.
