Our Programs

Create your own full menu of well-balanced learning experiences!

Our programs are always fun, but they also focus on the following:
Art, Fine Motor Skills, Gross Motor Skills, STEAM Skills, Literacy, and Music. 
Art Room with Sue

Art & Fine Motor Skills

Come to The Makery and join Teacher Sue for a fun, unique art activity, with a new project each week.  All supplies are provided, just bring your creativity!

Ballet Basics

Gross Motor

Get your introduction to ballet technique, stretches, and some fun dancing exercises!  Learn some of the fundamentals of ballet in a relaxed environment with movement activities, dance-related games, and stories that highlight the art of dance.

Bisqueware Painting @ the Annex

Art & Fine Motor Skills

Come choose your pre-fired ceramic pottery piece and have fun painting!

  • Entry is free, purchase of bisqueware is required to participate

  • Check-in at the front desk of the museum to get your pass to the Annex

  • TCMSO Membership or daily admission required

  • Kids of all ages are welcome with adult participation

Clay Studio @ the Annex: Explore with clay by hand-building to create functional and/or sculptural objects for fun, no purchase necessary. Want to take your clay masterpiece home? No problem, the clay is available to purchase!

Infant/ Toddler Music Time: 

Music & Language

Enjoy songs, fingerplays, and some musical instrument exploration designed for your little infant and toddler musicians!


Art & Fine Motor Skills

What will you make with a square piece of paper?  Join us for an exploration of the art of origami!  This program is held in The Makery at The Tinker Bar.

Master Builder: 

STEAM & Fine Motor Skills

Come build with us! Our Master Builder classes are designed for children 2 and up who enjoy building with Lego’s and participating in collaborative play with their peers.  Families are encouraged to build whatever their imagination creates in a guided environment with lots of Lego’s provided for all!

Recycled Art: 

Art & Fine Motor Skills

What can YOU make with recycled materials?  Give our wide array of different materials a second life by creating something new, exciting, and artistic!

Silly Science:


Put on some goggles and join us for some wacky science fun! Our teacher Bre guides us through science concepts and activities like slime-making, magnetic polarity, sedimentation, liquid viscosity, and more!
