Field Trips
Every child has the chance to learn through play at The Children’s Museum of Southern Oregon. Your group will explore hands-on interactive exhibits inspired by life in Southern Oregon!

Please Note Birthday Party Policy
Out of respect for all guests and the capabilities of our space, we are unable to accommodate birthday parties in our public areas.
If you are interested in having a birthday party at the museum, check out our Private Events >> and connect with our Outreach Team to reserve our Culinary Studio where we are able to accommodate celebrations. Private Events include a designated space for your party and museum admission.
Policy for Field Trips & Group Visits
-Advance Reservations are required for all groups with 10 or more children.
This allows us time to ensure we are properly staffed for your group or class. Since this is during museum hours this allows us to notify other guests of the increased numbers.
-There must be one adult chaperone (18 or over) for every 5 children.
-The maximum group size is 40 children.
Play Areas
Groups may use all open areas of the museum including the Makery and The Outdoor Adventure (coming late summer / early fall). Use of The Clay Studio and/or Culinary Studio are not included in a field trip or group visit.
Currently, the eating area for field trips is the amphitheater in our Outdoor Adventure.
Field Trip & Group Visit Prices
-Child: $12
-Adult: $8
This is a discount from our normal prices of $15 per child and $10 per adult.
-The lead teacher/organizer is admitted at no charge.
-A 20% nonrefundable deposit is due at least 2 weeks in advance. This deposit reserves the date. Payment in full is required at the time of the visit. Advanced payment is encouraged.
-Museum memberships may not be used for field trip admission
Availability
-Field Trips & Group Visits are allowed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays from 10:30 am to 3 pm. For times other than these designated times contact The Children’s Museum at outreach@tcmso.org or 541-772-9922.
-Reservations are required at least 2 weeks in advance. For reservations less than 2 weeks prior, please call 541-772-9922 to see if there is availability.
Plan Your Visit
The Children's Museum is located in downtown Medford at 413 W. Main St.
-Parking is limited to street parking on the surrounding blocks. There are time limits posted.
-Groups meet in front of the building and the lead teacher/organizer will check in at the front desk.
-No bus parking available.
