Reading Times for Polar Express operates every 15 minutes within your Ticket Time Slot. To book your ticket, simply select your Ticket Time slot and Book Reading Time when making your purchase online.
1. What happens after purchasing tickets online?
For tickets purchased before December 1st, a Polar Express packet will be mailed to the address provided during the purchase process. This packet contains Golden Tickets for event admission and a ticket to an exclusive reading of “The Polar Express.
2. How can I obtain my tickets if I purchased them AFTER December 1st?
If you purchased tickets after December 1st, you can pick them up at the front desk before December 12th. The Museum will be closed on December 12th for event set-up. Please note that our museum is closed on Mondays, but open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday from noon to 5 pm. Tickets not picked up before December 12th will be available at will call during your designated ticket date and time.
3. What is a Sensory Friendly Polar Express?
We are hosting a Sensory Friendly Polar event on Saturday, December 14th and 15th, from 9 am to 10 am. This event allows families whose children may benefit from a quieter, less busy environment to experience the magic of the Polar Express. This event is tailored to guests who prefer a less sensory-stimulating and overwhelming experience.

5. Do tickets sell out?
Yes, the Polar Express event has been sold out every year. We highly recommend that guests purchase tickets as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
6. Do you offer any discounts or scholarship tickets?
We offer a discount to guests who volunteer for Polar Express at the Children’s Museum. For details please visit our volunteer page here.
7. How do I log in as a member?
