Celebration of Asian & Pacific Islander
Heritage Month
The Children's Museum is teaming up with the Southern Oregon Chinese Cultural Association & Hula O Nuku ‘Āina, to host a fun-filled event on May 19th from noon to 5 PM to celebrate Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Enjoy this event with museum admission or membership.
Please note that the listed prices are monthly installments that go toward the yearly cost. The installments are distributed over a ten-month period. The payments are due on the 1st of every month starting September 1st and the final payment is due June 1st.

Make a butterfly or bird window hanging. Cut out, carve, and paint using our woodcut stencils!

Trinket Boxes
Build your skills in clay at the studio using the slab method to create your own trinket box with a lid.
May 21st-31st:
Father’s Day Carving on Coaster
Make a gift for Father’s Day! Cut out a circle or square coaster and paint. Carve your choice of words for a lasting and usable note to Dad. Be sure to come in by May 30th to create your coasters in time for Father's Day

Make tree texture using real bark! Experiment with the different faces and textures of trees.

Use your imagination to build with clay coils in this free program. Make a tiny nest and eggs!

Learn a new technique with stencils using slip to "paint" a design.

The Pinch Pot Method; Making Succulents
Practice building your pinch pot skills in the free program. Learn to combine pieces by slipping and scoring.
